Find My Sizes

Not sure what size tyres or wheels you need? The good news is that most of the information you need is already on your current tyres or wheels. This page will show you what to look for, where to find it, and what each measurement means.

How to Find Your Tyre Size

Your tyre size is made up of three numbers. It is usually printed on the sidewall of your current tyre, inside the driver door frame, or in your vehicle's owner manual. It will look something like this:

275/70R18

The three numbers in this example represent the following information:

Width (275)

The width is the measurement across the tyre from one sidewall to the other, in millimetres.

Profile (70)

The profile is the height of the tyre sidewall shown as a percentage of the tyre width.

Diameter (18)

The diameter is the size of the wheel the tyre fits, measured in inches (usually after the 'R').

How to Find Your Wheel Size

Wheel sizing can seem more technical, but once you know what to look for, it becomes much easier. Again, there are three key measurements you need to know.

Offset

Offset tells you how far in or out the wheel mounting face sits. You can usually find the offset stamped or cast on the back of the wheel or inside the spokes. Offset is often written as something like:

ET 40

This would mean the wheel sits out by 40 millimetres. Keep in mind the number may also be negative.

Width & Height

Wheel width and height (or diameter) are usually stamped on the inside of the wheel, such as on the inner barrel, rear of the spoke, or near the hub. Width and height are often written together in a format like:

17x8

This would mean the wheel is 17 inches high and 8 inches wide.

PCD

PCD (or pitch circle diameter) refers to the number of wheel studs and the diameter of the circle they form. It is often stamped on the back of the hub or wheel rim, or in your vehicle's manual. You will usually see PCD written in a format like:

5x120

This would mean there are 5 stud holes, and the circle they form is 120 millimetres.
